How to rock a cat-eye look!

Some people are always too shy and scared to wear a cat eye to school, work, or etc. A cat eye is perfect for a classy night if you're out with your friends, going out to dinner, or a party, but it can also be perfect during the day on a regular basis. I created this look to show how to make a simple cat eye that is not too over dramatic yet perfect for the day.
The eyeliner that I used can also be purchased at a drugstore! There is absolutely no need for an expensive or high quality eyeliner. I used the Revlon ColorStay Liquid Liner in the color blackest black.

How to get the look!
First, line your top lash line as you normally do. You want this line to be fairly thick. Then, wing the eyeliner out a little, extending the shape of your eye. There might be a gap between your eye and the of the winged line; to fix this, draw a small line connecting the outer edge of the winged eye to the very end of your lash line. You can now fill in the middle for a solid, think black line.

Makeup used for eye shadow:

  • Aerie color radiant eye shadow palette with chamomile and aloe
  • Lancome color design eye shadown in Mannequin
  • Butternut by elf

Give this cat eye a try the next time you go to school or work! I hope you enjoyed!
